When more people say “Yes” to organ donation, more lives are saved

In 2017, Alphonso’s wife received a double lung transplant. Although she passed away in 2019, Alphonso feels extremely blessed to have been able to spend those two additional years with her. During that time, the couple was able to create special memories in their new home—memories Alphonso cherishes to this day.

A member of The Columbus Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club, he is a strong advocate for organ, eye and tissue donation and appreciates the support he’s received from Lifeline of Ohio.
